You guys. Kelly was BUSY in December! As I sat here working on this blog post, I could not believe how many families she photographed for these Benefit Sessions! Settle in, because there are a lot of photos below! So many that we decided to break this up into two separate blog posts. Scroll down to see families, newborns, kids and even a few fur-babies!
Our Snowy Sled Sessions were a big hit! Before breaking down the Holiday sets, Kelly offered up FREE newborn shots to babies under 14 days old. Scroll through to see a collection of all these snuggly newborns on this winter-themed set!
The Krupp Family met up with Denise at a private farm in Glen Allen for their mini session in November. Their classic navy and gray are a perfect match against the rustic barn backdrop.
This Dandelion Yellow wrap, headband and blanket have me thinking of Spring! But June’s newborn session was actually shot back in November. Kelly pulled together sets of Navy Blue, Ivory and Tiffany blue, with some splashes of Raspberry Pink and Gray for a beautiful collection of newborn photos.
The Hite Family came out for a beautiful photo shoot with Denise at a private farm in Glen Allen. The golden sun and the old red barn make for a warm, beautiful backdrop to this new family. Notice how mom and dad chose colors that ever so subtly tie in with the little one’s jean cuffs! Pulling colors from a pattern is a great way to pull together a cohesive look for a session.
Mom and Dad also brought along their Fur-baby! We have a feeling this sweet doggy will be protective of baby!
Saavi gave us the slightest grin in this first photo from her newborn session. Her session features a neutral ivory with splashes of wine red and blush pink. Coming in around the holidays meant she also got a snowy sled photo! Scroll to the bottom to see how protective big brother is over his baby sister!
Maddox came in for his final session of our Baby’s First Year Program, the ever-popular Cake Smash session! When you sign up for the Baby’s First Year program, you are getting the VIP treatment with 3 total sessions: Newborn, Sitting (6-7 months), and Cake Smash. Along with your three sessions, you eceive 20-30 images per session, a $1000 print credit per session, a 16” x 20” canvas for each session, AND a 10”x10” photo album of all three sessions. Truly one of the best packages offered here at 11 Sixteen Photography.
The Stanwix Family had a beautiful session both indoors and out! With a few photos at Foxhall, and a few more in the studio. this Family ended up with a gorgeous gallery.
It’s Christmas in March! I promise we are catching up at a steady pace with our blog backlog. Kelly’s Holiday Sessions were a big hit as always, with several families taking advantage of the promo! A collection from each session can be found below.
Delaney’s Newborn session is so vibrant with shades of mustard yellow and wine red. Kelly brought Fall into Delaney’s session with this charming wreath that is brimming with fall foliage. This theme continues through all of the sets she used for this session.
The Downing Family came out in style for their Fall Mini session with Denise! Mom’s emerald green top looks stunning against that red barn backdrop! We love mom and baby girl’s matching boots as well. I also can’t get over those vibrant yellow fall leaves!
These Greenhouse Sessions at Strange’s Florist were from a promo we offered back in November to get one last minute photo for Christmas.
Sweet Millie looks so cozy all wrapped up in ivory and snuggled in this basket! Millie’s session includes neutral shades of ivory and gray, with a splash of yellow.
Kelly also put together this rose pink set that matches that beautiful lace trimmed bonnet.
If there is one thing I know after blogging this session, it’s that Ella smiles with her mouth wide open! She must be proud of those pearly whites peeking through.
Ella came to the studio for her Milestone Session with Kelly in early November, and her first outfit here is perfect for Fall. The maroon dress has splashes of orange, yellow, and even some pink to give that feeling of Fall leaves.
Ella brought her school spirit to her shoot in this Notre Dame outfit!

The Kegley Family had a beautiful photo shoot at Foxhall, a spot close to Kelly’s studio in the Short Pump area. The lighting was perfect for a shoot!
The Kegley’s pulled their look together with classic and casual Navy & Denim. They look relaxed, comfortable and happy!
Sweet Juliette looks so cozy wrapped up in this taupe wrap and snuggled in this ivory blanket! This tiny white bed is one of my favorite photo props for newborn sessions. In these first two photos, you can see how swapping out just a headband can completely change the look of a photo.
Kayli turned 1 Rainbow-style with this adorable Rainbow-themed Cake Smash Session. Kelly makes sure every cake smash has a cohesive look, pulling colors from the outfit to create a beautiful backdrop. The banner and cake are custom-made by Kelly to match the romper and headband. That’s right, Kelly makes all her own cakes for her cake smash sessions!
These stunning sisters met up with Kelly for a sunny outdoor session in October. I love their classic jewelry and outfits!
