What's Included in a Full Newborn Session?

If you're trying to decide between our Petite Newborn Session and our Full Newborn Session, the biggest difference comes down to time, variety, and family involvement.

Our Full Newborn Session is designed for families who want the complete newborn experience. With up to two hours in the studio, we have plenty of time to follow your baby's lead while creating a diverse gallery of timeless images.

Like every newborn session, we begin with family portraits. Parent and sibling images are completed first so everyone can relax once they're finished. After that, the session becomes all about your newest family member.

Because we have more time than in our Petite Session, we can create multiple wrapped and unwrapped setups, photograph your baby in a wider variety of poses, and use several different props, blankets, and flokatis throughout the session. We also have time for those sleepy, curly poses that often require extra patience and soothing.

The result is a gallery filled with variety—from classic family portraits to sweet close-ups, cozy prop images, timeless blanket poses, and beautifully styled newborn portraits.
