Bryson’s Newborn Session | Richmond VA Newborn Photographer
Bryson’s Newborn Photography Session in Richmond, VA
Meet sweet Bryson! His newborn session was filled with everything I love about photographing brand-new babies—tiny details, sleepy expressions, simple setups, and plenty of time to let baby lead the way.
As a Richmond, VA newborn photographer, my goal is to create images that feel timeless rather than trendy. I love using soft textures, neutral colors, and simple styling that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on your new baby.
For Bryson’s session, this rich, earthy green was absolutely perfect. It added warmth and depth while still keeping the finished images classic and beautifully simple.
Baby-Led Newborn Photography
After photographing more than 1,300 newborns, I’ve learned that no two babies are exactly alike—and newborn sessions shouldn’t be either.
My studio newborn sessions are baby-led, which means we work around your little one rather than expecting your little one to work around us. Comfort and safety always come first, and we take our cues from baby throughout the session.
Some babies are happy to curl up and sleep through almost everything. Others have very definite opinions about the matter. 😉 Both are perfectly normal, and there is never any pressure to force a particular pose just for the sake of getting a shot.
The result is a gallery filled with beautiful newborn portraits while still allowing your baby to simply be a baby.
Newborn Photography in Richmond, Virginia
Newborn photography captures such a tiny window of time. Those little fingers, sleepy faces, round cheeks, and impossibly small features change faster than you think.
At 11 Sixteen Photography, newborn sessions take place in my Richmond-area studio, where everything we need for your session is ready and waiting. From wraps and blankets to props and simple setups, my goal is to make the experience as easy as possible for new parents while creating beautiful photographs your family will have for years to come.
Welcome to the world, Bryson. You were an absolute sweetheart to photograph. 🤍
